The University of Florida is advancing Olympic and Paralympic sports innovation through the UF & Sport Collaborative, focusing on AI, sports performance, and inclusivity. A key project addresses the gap in research on para-athletes by developing AI-powered tools to improve training and performance tracking for athletes of all abilities. Aligned with the International Olympic Committee’s AI Olympic Agenda, UF is using AI analytics to optimize athlete data, enhance recovery, and ensure innovations are accessible to diverse athletes. This effort sets a new standard for inclusivity in sports science. Supported by interdisciplinary faculty and a $2.5 million investment, the collaboration aims to shape the future of sport science research and foster a more inclusive athletic community on the world’s biggest stage.
