
Stacey Higgins
Associate Athletics Director
Stacey (Roller) Higgins, Associate Athletics Director for Sports Health & Performance, enters her 22nd year with the University Athletic Association (UAA); she spent her first 8 years working with the UF Women’s Gymnastics team before moving into her current administrative position. Higgins currently serves as the UAA’s Athletics Health Care Administrator. Her primary responsibility is the administration and delivery of healthcare services to the UF student-athletes.
Higgins joined the Florida athletic training staff in July 2003.
She is a 2001 summa cum laude graduate of Indiana State University, where she earned a degree in athletic training. Higgins continued her education at the University of Kentucky, earning a master’s degree in Kinesiology in 2003. While at Kentucky, she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Kentucky athletic program and worked specifically with the Wildcat women’s gymnastics program.
Higgins is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida. Stacey is married to Chris Higgins, and they reside in Gainesville. The couple are the parents of two sons, Austin Riley, born in 2010 and Carson Stewart born in 2013.
