Postdoctoral Associate
Dr. Tamara T. Chambers is a Postdoctoral Associate in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering. Chambers holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Her research focused on understanding the impact of morphology on infant hip joint growth and development. Chambers has conducted research on biomechanical computer models, injury prevention, and medical imaging. Chambers joins the AI-Powered Athletics team with aims to integrate engineering methods with real-world sports data to assess injury risk among student-athletes and inform injury prevention strategies.
