Troy Kelly

Ph.D. Student

Troy Kelly Jr is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering with a strong foundation in biomechanics and data analysis. He is particularly interested in analyzing high-performance data to gain valuable insights into injury prevention, recovery, and improved athletic performance. His goal is to bridge the gap between athletes and data-driven solutions by combining his technical expertise, strong communication skills, and deep understanding of engineering systems.

Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., Troy earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and gained professional experience in industry, where he developed strong project management and leadership skills, earning his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Troy’s background in biomedical engineering, computer engineering, and project management equips him with both technical proficiency and the ability to effectively communicate with athletes and coaching staff.
